BRAVA Boys Team Opportunities
BRAVA Boys Team Opportunities helps boys begin or continue volleyball training while being evaluated for our 2026–2027 teams. Our boys are already training, and new athletes may register now for a free practice evaluation. Registrations will help us determine age divisions and how many teams we can form.
Ages
Boys ages 10–18 may submit this registration. Final age divisions will be determined by the number of athletes, skill level, position needs, and our ability to build balanced rosters.
When
Training is already underway, and new athletes may register during the team-formation period. The 2026–2027 boys team opportunities generally run from fall through spring.
Where
Indoor practices are held in Silverhill, Alabama. Exact gym location and arrival instructions will be shared with registered families.
Practices
Our boys are currently training. New athletes may be invited to attend a free practice evaluation after registering. Practice frequency and group placement will be based on age, skill level, availability, and team needs.
Games
Tournament schedules will vary by age division and team. BRAVA will prioritize reasonable regional opportunities when available, but some travel may be necessary to find established boys divisions. Families will receive the complete competition schedule before accepting a team offer.
Jerseys
Athletes who accept a team position will need an official BRAVA uniform package. Uniform items and costs will be included with the team offer before the family accepts.
Extra Costs
This registration and the initial practice evaluation are free. Ongoing training, team fees, uniforms, tournament travel, lodging, and other expected expenses are separate. Families will receive all applicable costs before making a commitment.

Can my athlete begin training now?
Yes. Boys may register now. After we review the athlete’s information, he may be invited to attend an upcoming BRAVA practice for a free evaluation. If the training group is appropriate, the family will receive the available training options.
Is this the official paid team registration?
No. This is a free registration for a practice evaluation and team consideration. Official team registration and payment will only happen after the athlete receives a team invitation and the family reviews the schedule and costs.
How will BRAVA determine the boys teams?
Teams and age divisions will be based on the number of registered athletes, skill level, positions, commitment, practice availability, travel interest, and our ability to create balanced rosters.
Does registering or attending an evaluation guarantee a roster position?
No. Registration and evaluation allow us to learn more about the athlete. Team placement will depend on the athlete’s readiness, team fit, position needs, and roster availability.
Can boys with little volleyball experience register?
Yes. Boys with different experience levels may register. The practice evaluation will help us determine the most appropriate training path. Competition-team placement will depend on the athlete’s readiness and available roster positions.

During practice, we will observe skills, attitude, communication, coachability, commitment, position needs, and team fit. Participation does not guarantee placement. If the athlete is a good match and a roster position is available, the family will receive a team invitation with the schedule, cost, and next steps.
